The Meditation Center presents a talk on Meditation for Stress Reduction and Spiritual Growth

Richard Owings, a student in the Master of Divinity program at Naropa, will be presenting this program, beginning at 11am Saturday August 2, at the Center. 

Meditation has been a vital part of contemplative traditions for over 2500 years, serving as a pathway to inner peace, self-awareness, and spiritual insight. Today, it is recognized in medical and therapeutic fields as an effective tool for managing stress and cultivating a deeper sense of connection and calm.

Join us for a supportive session where we will explore how to establish a consistent meditation practice, emphasizing the development of stable volitional attention to deepen your inner awareness. Guided meditations will be provided to help focus your mind, quiet distractions, and open to a sense of spaciousness and spiritual presence.
